It's hot

And it's quiet outside, except for the sound of air conditioners. We've stocked up on lemonade and chocolate ice cream (and a crisp white wine) so I'm not overly worried about the steam-ageddon that's predicted for as many days as my iPhone's weather app will show.

I'm looking at this Cuisinart ice cream maker which I think will get us through the week. Ice cream in any flavour you want in 20 minutes and you get real ice cream made without all those extra ingredients that aren't cream, milk, sugar, vanilla and chocolate. Call me a purist.
